Winter does not bring much planting, but there's tree protection policy work to be done and outreach to find the sites to plant lots of trees in May!!!

The new "Setback Tree" (front yard trees project) coordinator for Earthworks, Gretchen Folk, would like to meet with us as soon as possible. She wants to give us more details on the outreach and front yard tree planting plans, and to share the volunteer needs with us. This is so they (and we ) can get going with the outreach to find a few hundred front yards and stewards of trees in Jamaica Plain!

We will meet with Gretchen this Monday, December 18, from  6:30-7:30. We'll meet at the Junebug Cafe in Hyde
